Justin Denney - Southwestern Sociological Association (SSA) Award
Justin Denney’s outstanding paper, “Investigating the Effects of Household Composition and the Family on Suicide Mortality in the United States,” won the Southwestern Sociological Association’s (SSA) doctoral-level graduate student paper award at the annual meetings, which were held in Denver, Colorado, April 9-11, 2009.SSA President and awards committee chair Janet Huber Lowry remarked that this year Justin’s excellent submission emerged from especially keen competition.
