Interests: Race and Ethnicity, Intersections of Race and Law, Citizenship, Urban Sociology

Background: David Mitchell received a M.A. in Sociology (1999) and a J.D. (2002) from the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, David is working on completing his dissertation on the impact of felon disenfranchisement laws on the lives of ex-felons who have completed their sentences, their notions of citizenship, and ex-felon re-entry in Colorado.
