December 12, 2007: The Review Sheet and Take-Home Final has been posted. You can download it by clicking the link at the top of the page. As announced in class, all students have the option of taking either an in-class exam or a take-home essay exam that is due during the scheduled final exam period. After downloading the document, note that Part A presents the take-home final exam questions and Part B of this document presents in-class final exam review questions.

November 30, 2007: Final Exam Announcement:
Students will have two options for the PSCI 1101 final exam -- either a take-home, essay-based final or an in-class exam similar in format to the two midterm exams.  The take-home option as well as a review sheet for the in-class exam will be available on the course website one week before the scheduled final, on Tuesday, December 11th.  The take-home exam will be due in the first hour of the scheduled final exam period, which begins at 10:30 am on Tuesday, December 18th.  Take-home exams may be delivered to our regular classroom during the in-class exam period or may be delivered prior to the exam period to my office in Ketchum 5D.

September 4, 2007: The first short paper is due at the beginning of class this Thursday.  For those of you who would like to talk over the paper or any other class issues, I will be available for some extra time on Wednesday, from 10:30 to 12:00, in the UMC.  Look for me at a table near the Celestial Seasonings concession.  I will also be available during my regular office hours.

August 31, 2007: Welcome to class!  It's going to be a very interesting semester and I look forward to working with each of you as we study the many angles of American government and politics.  You can check here all semester for announcements, reminders and clarifications.  For today, I want to announce that materials presented in class will be made available under the "Helpful Links" section of this webpage.
