YVONNE M. DUTTON

Yvonne Dutton successfully defended her dissertation in May 2011 and was awarded her Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder in August 2011.  Her dissertation examines the puzzle of state commitment to the International Criminal Court using both empirical analyses and case studies.  Recently, Yvonne completed a book manuscript based on her dissertation research entitled Committing to the Court:  Rules, Politics, and the International Criminal Court.  Yvonne is also a lawyer, having received her J.D. from Columbia Law School.  She has published several law review articles, one of which is based on her dissertation research about the ICC and which will appear shortly in the summer 2011 issue of the Washington University Global Studies Law Review.
