Goals & Research Interests


Teaching and researching in the fields of urban politics and political economy. Working in a collaborative and stimulating work environment.
My main research interests are the following:
▪ Politics of Mobility and Migration, in an American and Comparative setting;
▪ International Political Economy, with a focus on finance;
▪ Comparative Politics in general.

Dissertation


Title: Mobility and Migration in the European Union
Abstract: my thesis deals with the determinants of internal migration (mobility) and external migration in the European Union. I am researching the factors that influence mobility and sorting, especially in the differences between EU citizens and extra-EU citizens. My thesis also deals with the influence that mobility and migration has on the politics of the communities where movers settle. My research is set in three EU countries: the UK, Germany and Italy.
